NEW PORTLAND — Youth Group at the Western Mountains Baptist Church is now being held Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church on Route 27. Teenagers in grades 7th to 12th are invited to spend the evening involved in socializing, Bible lessons, fun activities and crafts. On February 1st, the Wednesday morning ladies group is beginning a new study called Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted. Author and speaker, Priscilla Shirer states “you can’t escape life’s interruptions, but you can change your perspective on them. What you see as an interruption may truly be God’s divine invitation to a life so much bigger than you can imagine”.
